A nightmare without end seems to be unfolding all over the world. The eternal optimist in me is trying to find a glimmer of hope that things will work out in favor of humanity in the end, but there are moments of grave doubt.
Sorry for the pessimistic view-point, but war is not a topic that inspires hope.
