#ShortStory – Smoke & Shadows – Romantic Intrigue by @AuthorReet
This short story is inspired by a need to revisit a time when it was more than all right to sit in coffee shops without a mask on, and to meet with relatives and friends as though a deadly virus did not lurk in the shadows.
I had fun writing this from a male perspective and also enjoyed the challenge of exploring love, loss, acceptance, and intrigue in just a few words.
