I was inspired by the LGBTQIA+ Pride month to release a book of short stories that had some of the colors of the rainbow on its cover and a sweet lesbian/gay romance in one of the stories.
The stories are inspired by random words and phrases floating around in the stratosphere. There’s something for everyone – Red has a bit of dark suspense; Blue is a story with an element of romantic intrigue; while Pink is a soft, sweet suspenseful romance.
I had fun writing these and they represent a brief interlude from my longer stories, one of which is coming out very soon, so watch this space…
The Blurb
The stories in this volume are titled after colors for a good reason.
The first story is a dark suspense that embodies what the color red stands for: fire, stimulation, violence, energy, basic survival, and aggression. Hopefully it won’t keep you awake at night…
The second story is an intrigue that comes about because of a breach of communication and trust – both these attributes, when unbroken, are signified by the color blue – as is the resulting sadness when the promise is not fulfilled.
The third one is a soft, sweet suspenseful romance with elements of warmth, femininity, and love, but also inhibition, and hence is titled Pink.
